They were considering, thinking, and in the end, they picked from the many songs by Satie and Debussy the ones to be played by Ensemble Ricercata during the upcoming concerts.
“Satie patiently and calmly repeats the sequence of two or three chords in very quiet dynamics – and puts the voice line above them. Unlike Debussy, who in almost all songs repeats one figure in very quick tempi,” this is how Ivan explains the differences of piano accompaniments in the songs of Satie and Debussy.
Eric and Claude on one playground. It is also going to be visually playful. And there is going to be reciting. That all is going to happen under one name – Cinema – on September 26th at the Tatra Gallery in Poprad and on September 27th at the Great Concert Hall of the Slovak Radio.
