Ivan’s keyword for the month of April is #situations – situations during concert and lectures and foremost the situations during the presentation of the scores and album of the same name.
First, Ivan is going to give a lecture on Berg, Boulez, Schönberg, and Messiaen to the students at Janáček Academy of Music and Performings Arts in Brno / April 2nd
At the Church at Cukrová Street in Bratislava, he is going to give a concert together with Jozef Lupták (cello) and Eva Šušková (soprano). Concert in the Easter Silence features works of Bach, Tavaner, and Messiaen. The event is organized by the Church Elementary School Narnia / April 9th
He is also visiting the town of Stará Turá with the project The Mobile Cultural Centre / April 18th
Tomáš Boroš will join him in Banská Štiavnica in the SoundOrchestra workshop / April 26th and 27th
On the last Sunday of April, Ivan will manage two concerts in one day. At 11 a.m. he gives a concert together with the clarinetist Braňo Dugovič at the Mirbach Palace. The program features the works of A. Berg, I. Stravinskij, W. Lutoslawski, I. Zeljenka, and P. Boulez
