The year 2024 has brought many significant projects and opportunities that are pushing me forward not only as a musician but also as an educator and innovator in education. I’d like to share with you some important moments from the past few months.
One of the highlights of recent times was the May concert of Ensemble Ricercata titled Wings. The program was dedicated to the work of my colleague and friend, Tomáš Boroš. Together with him, Eva Šušková, and guitarist Ondrej Veselý, we brought an exceptional experience to the audience. A review of the concert by Jakub Goč mentioned me, which pleased me greatly:
“In one moment, he held a chord on this instrument using a weight and joined Ivan Šiller in four-handed play on the acoustic piano. The strongest aspect of the composition was undoubtedly the creativity and the great synergy between the two pianists.”

Besides concerts, this summer I also focused on pedagogical activities. My collaboration with InMusic and Superar Slovakia led me to innovative education, where I concentrated on developing methodological inspirations for teaching piano. In August, I had the opportunity to co-lead a seminar on Methodological Inspirations in Piano Teaching with Tomáš Boroš, where together with participants, we explored new ways to foster creativity and interest in young musicians. This approach to education is key for me, and I see great potential in it for the future development of music pedagogy.
In June, in an interview for Denník N, I talked about a topic close to my heart for a long time—how to fall in love with classical music. I believe that anyone can find their way to “classical” music if approached with an open heart and the right tools. We discussed how to start with short pieces, how to listen to Rádio Devín, and also about my personal musical experiences.
