Pianist Ivan Šiller and soprano Helga Varga Bach will bring to the concert a selection of twenty songs that will show you the wide range of Ives’ creativity and compositional variability. Gradually, in a series of concerts, they will present other songs from the collection of 114 songs by the composer Charles Ives.
The American composer Charles Ives (1874 – 1954) is an important figure in the history of American musical culture. However, the contribution of his visionary musical legacy is being revealed gradually, even now we have something to think about and find new contexts.
